The Alcove Cafe is located within a block of two marvelous fresh-water lakes: Michigan and Charlevoix (talk about good luck!) in beautiful Charlevoix Michigan. We are in the oldest building in Charlevoix, built by Philo Beers in 1865. To learn more about the history of the building, type Philo into the search box on the right side of this page.
We are at 103 Park Avenue, the first street south of the drawbridge, just off of U.S. 31.
We are open 7 days a week in the summer. In the winter, we are closed two days a week.
We serve breakfast from 7:30 (7:00 in summer) am to 3:00 pm, and lunch starting at 11:30 (11:00 in summer) am.
Yes, you are welcome to sit outside to eat. And so is your dog.
