  1. We dined on Sunday July 5; expecting to find you crazy busy. The restaurant was buzzing but not crazy. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer environment on a holiday weekend.

You stopped by and asked if the breakfast was ok, and I said “yes, one of the better breakfasts in Charlevoix”. Well, I just kept thinking about those words later. It’s not one of the better breakfasts in Charlevoix…it is by far the superior breakfast in Charlevoix. Then, remembering fondly that I ordered the Croque-Maison because the Croque’s were favorites for me when I was in Paris…another realization! I had no better croque in Paris. So, I guess my review would have to be best croque in the world! :o)

….and no, I’m not related to anyone who invested in Alcove Cafe…I’m just a fan!

    btw: great website!
